I was in a lecture once, and I know that I heard the instructor say that yawning kept you young.
When I wrote that on the exam, he thought I was nuts.
So I was wrong then, but I am right, now. I yawn once I get on the horn with my boy every night, and then I feel better. I never feel tense waiting to connect with him. The tension just releases when I see his face and hear his voice.
Maybe that is a type and shadow of how we are made to relate with our Father, his Son, and their Holy Spirit.
You know. Once we can see his face and hear his voice, we know we can relax. We know it's going to be okay.
So if I am yawning in a church meeting, it is not a commentary on the preacher.
Father, help me to be relaxed. Help me to trust you. Help me to seek your face
