Celebration

Celebration has been misappropriated.  Like nearly everything else.

Celebration is a holy thing that is by and for God.  It is just so easy to celebrate, that it quickly becomes by and for others.

I can not take celebration back.  Like the pastor's wife who wanted to take back the rainbow.

I can celebrate the Kingdom Now.  I can celebrate the majesty of God in me and around me.  I can celebrate the brideishness to be seen.  I can celebrate the victories won out of love, in the midst of the battlefield.

I can celebrate my Father who persists in loving me.  I can celebrate the family in which I have been set.  I can celebrate the oil of joy saturating me and making me functional in the Kingdom.

I celebrate You, Daddy.

Home, Loved, Changed

I think I need to visit Illinois more often, even if it is just via google chat.  There are people there who have something I need.  Love.  They have some for me.  In five days they did not run out.

You walk different when you know you are loved.  I know I have since the revelation of Father's love.  Now, again, with a fresh dose of family love.  One of the worst things about spiritual pride is thinking you have everything you need.  Father, forgive my pride.  It is particularly yucky today.

I had lunch out today.  Yes, Christmas day.  Even Golden Corral was closed.  But Hibachi Grill was not.  Not swamped at 1:30 on a Sunday, but busy enough.  I needed to be around people today.  Today I know more about why people get lonely around the holidays.  People who need people are the luckiest people in the world.  I heard that many years ago from a wise woman.  YuckYuck.

Father, help me find those who you have filled with something for me.  Help me find those who you have filled me with something for.  Teach me to touch them when I find them.  Break down the walls.  And thank you for the spirit of prophecy.

Have mercy on and deliver and heal the ubergruppenfeurher.

Free

Free.
Free to dance or not.
Free to be loud or not.
Free to agree or not.
Free to believe weird stuff...or not.
Free to say no.
Free to say yes.
Free to say maybe.
Free to be loved and have that be absolutely enough.
Free to be grateful because it is the answer.
Free to live like the child of the King, and treat everyone else like that, too.
Free to feel sorry but not be sorry.

Thanks for my home, Daddy. Thanks for my family.

Church

Got almost done with this post and lost it all to the touchpad on this CR-48. I loved the post. I hate this touchpad. Yet I am really grateful for the free CR-48. I love the key feel.

Suffice it to say that taking the time to look back at an evening or a day is worth it.

Tribes are funny things. They really need you to need them enough to find out the rules and follow them. Tribe member get scared when you don't follow the rules, and even more so when you act like you don't need the tribe. Wow. If you follow the rules and act like you need to be in the tribe, then you don't need anything.

So what we are after is not tribe but family. Chew on that.

New People

I get to meet lots of new people tomorrow, because they are coming to my workplace. So many opportunities to love, as opposed to every other response.

Father, saturate me with love so I can pour it out. Make me smell like you. Help me to, first, accept and embrace. Help all of our visitors like it here because we love them. Help us to help them do their best for us because they know we love them.

You need a Father. I just heard a man I respect say that from the platform.

I have a Father. My friend Jack introduced Him to me. I had known and trusted His Son for a while. I went dancing with His Spirit regularly. They made a way for me to meet my Father, but Jack was the one who told me I could crawl up there and snuggle. Daddy, give Jack a hug for me.

Aunt Bea paved the way. She told me it was time to stop looking for a teacher. But she did not say what followed forsaking "a teacher."

Then I met Jack and had my answer. All riders leave the train here. Last station stop. Home. Father. Rest. Done. No need to look any further.

You need a Father. With Father is Shalom. Everything needed is here, though there is not much here. The desert wind strips away the decoration, any facade that might be left. The utter cold of night fractures everything that can not gain access to the private family quarters in the back of the tent. Where there is warmth that is and was and ever shall be. There is one resting place deep in my Fathers bosom...and there is plenty of room.

Father, thank you that I need empty hands and shoeless, clean feet to make the toddler climb up into your lap. It is so good to be home.

201010202139

What a delight to talk to my boy. Family contact is not as distracting as non-family contact. Dad likes family, and He says that there is good when we look away from One Thing, when we look at family. He made family a picture of the Kingdom.

The draw of One Thing never lets up. It takes deliberate choice to turn from adoration. You'd think I was saying that I am there all of the time, but it is so far from true. I can imagine a time coming when I stay lost in there for days. I used to think that required circumstances, like going for a week or a month to Kansas City. Now I know that nothing is required beyond faith. I do not depend on intimacy, it just means I am putting my faith somewhere else. When I am not lost in Love, when I am looking up the path and guiding myself with my own eyes, rather than leaning out the arm of my beloved, gazing lost upon Him, and depending my movement on His, then I am a proud adulterer or idolater.

Father, you have helped me in my earth life so much today. You have given me victory over my enemies, and you shown me how to love and pray. I keep missing...and you keep on encouraging me. Thank you.
