Control

If only it was possible to control the circumstances. If only it was possible to control the future. If only it was possible to control the fear. If only it was possible to control the pain. If only it was possible to still the voices.

But it is not possible and it is not going to be possible.

If only it was possible to release the circumstances, the future, the fear, the pain, the voices.

It is possible. Come to me, all you that labor and are heavy laden. EVERYTHING can be laid down.

I am around a lot of scared people. Father help me to shine with the light of your liberty. Help me show them that they can be free of that body of death.

Veneer. Show the veneer for what it is.

Frustration

Frustration just may be part of the landscape.
Nope. Frustration is just a marker that there are expectations that are not founded in the Kingdom. There is a day coming when every circumstance is met with Kingdom Joy. I am just not there yet. There is so much freedom. There is so much to be had in the freedom of Kingdom living. Nothing to do but to walk in it. It is in the book. People of the book and the Spirit can find the door to walking in liberty. Healing is full there. Here. Deliverance is complete. Do you come to the Kingdom for deliverance...or do you get delivered to get to the Kingdom. You have a family right to enter into the most secret place before you are clean. Before you are delivered. You can still have your crippled feet and take your place at the Kings table.
Come on. Take it.

Help me, Father. There is so much to eat and so few at the table.

Rooms

http://books.google.com/books?id=42EHtyyGva8C&printsec=frontcover&dq=rubart+rooms&source=bl&ots=fpgCu5IdDp&sig=co9vgn8UrF7BdjtB246CisWR3dQ&hl=en&ei=KRcYTZyOOcT58AahzKHsDQ&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=4&ved=0CDYQ6AEwAw#v=onepage&q&f=false

My boy gave me a copy of this book, Rooms, for Christmas, and I read it today.
It is Christian literature and describes a man's path to spiritual liberty and wholeness in Christ. The protagonist turned away from Christ in his teens and twenties, like so many of us did. This is the fictional dramatic telling of one man's return to Christ.

If any of this description resonates with you or describes someone who is not walking in Christian liberty, I recommend this anointed book. The author is James Rubart.

Why does voting feel so right?

There must be something Godly in all of that good. It is strange to feel so good about participating in a republic when I live in a Kingdom.

Dad says a free republic is a good thing. Not the best thing, and inevitably a useful idol and an enemy of best...but good nonetheless. Oppressors can not feel this good doing their oppressive duty. Voting, going there and not being stopped, not being intimidated, not being warned how to vote, not being arrested for trying to vote, not being shot or beaten for daring to vote. These are all part of the story of what the USA is. There are lots of other days when there are signs that the USA is not what the story says it is. When I go to vote it is the one day every couple of years that says to me, "Yes, the story is true." The other day is the day when the losers leave without being ejected, and the winners come in without killing the incumbent, his family and his staff. That is another day that says to me, "Yes, the story is true."

The American story, the one that says America is exceptional, the one that says that something special really is happening here, has enemies. I think they will have to take away election day, and stop participating in a peaceful transition of power, to make the story a lie. At least for me.

Father, thank you for the USA.

Fear Not

Fear can not exist in the Holy Wild. I may carry it into the Presence, but fear will not persist there.

If I have a habit of carrying fear, of giving fear a place of headship in part of my life, I can run and fight for a long time, and might not find the victory I need. I believe, in stead, I am going to go where it can not stay, and stay there long enough to break the habit. I am welcome, under the Blood of Jesus, in the presence of God. Fear, even a fear I would call my fear, firmly attached by long association, can not stay in the Presence of Love. Perfect Love casts out all fear.

Here in the Holy Wild fear holds no sway. Here in the Holy Wild I get distracted by adoration anyway. I am such a limited creature. I am only able to worship one god at a time. So I chose Big G and over time I forget the old tie, and the reason I came to fear in the first place.

Now I can show the face of fearlessness, and know what to say when someone asks why. Thank you, Father.

This is definitely the place.

This is the place. This Wild Place where there is always hope.
Every day, walking through the world, the things that are evidence of the effects of the presence of Love stand out. He restores my soul. It is not finished, but I can tell that it is happening.
Buttons that were hardwired are disconnected. Buttons that caused major responses now produce small results. I am so loved.

There is hope. Hope for me. That means there is hope for everyone. I am not getting this right all of the time and every time. But I am getting this right more often, and I can see moments when I needed to control life being replaced by vulnerable flows of Love. He flows in and through my life, my relationships, not just me.

Father, thank you for your faithfulness. You are true to your word.
