Father. What a thing to say. Perfect Father. Abundant rest has always been available in Your embrace. I accept. I freely receive what You have freely given.

Thank You that you are showing me by your Spirit how to identify and avoid the meaningless trappings. That you illuminate the path home, the path that leads directly into your embrace.

I need you, Daddy. I need you to rock me, and tell me the truth. I have been believing lies about you and me, both. Forgive me.

And thank you for Hartsville Community Fellowship. Restore each one's awe tonight.

Beauty

Everyone has a chance at awe and wonder. Everyone has an opportunity to look at beauty, and know that the inexplicable is on display. Not that the phenomenon can not be explained. But that the beauty can not be explained. The heart catches at the sight, sound or scent, and is held in awe of the beauty. This marks the beginning of the quest for God.

Now to have found the way home to God, the splendor never stops. With, and beyond sensation, the embrace, the rhythm, the immensity, the warmth, the enveloping, the motion, the grace of the embrace, the peace that passes understanding. The beauty of walking in the garden with Him.

Thank You, Father for the beauty of knowing, beyond feeling.

Buzzed Living is Drunk Living

On the other side of abandon is a life of wonder. The thing I like best is the "Yes" of God. The best way I can describe this is to ask you to imagine what it would be like if the God who loves you perfectly, and is the very fountain of life, tells you that He approves of you by wrapping you entirely in the splendor of His Love and kisses you on the top of your head. The effect of this embrace directly effects your nervous system and breaks down obstacles to the flow of information, sensation and ideation. You KNOW that you are alive, and you like it!

I like Yes. It makes the NO of God very tolerable. The embrace of Love changes everything. Father, thank You for loving me.

Run At It.

Run at the pain. Run at the fear. Run at the ignorance.
Take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. Grab ahold of the thing you fear. Run right at it, grab it with all your strength, and run with it toward Jesus. Get your knees up to avoid trip hazards and run, calling on the Name of Jesus.

The next thing you know, you will be in the embrace of Perfect Love, laughing in the center of Joy. You will be mostly aware that you are loved. On the dim edge of memory, you will remember that something had been happening just before...Oh, yes. There was this opposition. There was this force arrayed against you. But, where is it? ? ? ? ? Well, whatever it was, it is gone and you are here in the Heart of Delight.

Run at it. No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper.

Thank you, Father for basic instructions. And for those who have followed them before us.

I Want To Do This

I look at the stats to see if there are page views. I look to see where when how what is being viewed. I wonder why somebody in South Korea keeps coming back or has subscribed. The connection, and the few comments, are exciting. It feels good.

Maybe I need to fast that stuff for a season to see how much regular writing is driven by that stuff.

Because there is a connection with God here that is unlike any other. Doing this writing, this way gets a big Holy Ghost YES. When I sit down here, it is the most right things get. At least on this side of eternity.

Home. The home I was made for. Right here. Not just later, in heaven.

Daddy, call your children home. Sure, heaven if it is time. But please continue the call I heard that brought my whole heart to rest. There is so much room in Your perfect embrace. Like chicks under Your wing. It is the only way to find the Kingdom path. Once here in the arms of Love, thank You that the path onward never leaves Your embrace.

New People

I get to meet lots of new people tomorrow, because they are coming to my workplace. So many opportunities to love, as opposed to every other response.

Father, saturate me with love so I can pour it out. Make me smell like you. Help me to, first, accept and embrace. Help all of our visitors like it here because we love them. Help us to help them do their best for us because they know we love them.
