I love how He loves me

This life lived resting (or meaning to) in the Grace of God is so practical.
Need what only God can supply.
Go to God.
Say hello.
Get a hug.
Tell Him what it is that only He can supply and that you need.
Wait a bit.
Be supplied.
Recognize the supply.
Give thanks.
Repeat.

I ached tonight with one of those special aches that are hardwired, part of how He made us like Himself. Since He knows all of those aches, because He aches like that, He knows how to not ache...
And how to make me not ache. So when I went to get a hug, that is what he did.

He does these things in different ways every time. Like Jesus constantly doing different miracles. Like all of the different ways of healing blindness.

I wish all training had hugs.

Father, You make everything glorious. Thank you.

I was just talking with a friend. He asked me how my day was. I can not remember, but I told him that I got lots done and basically what I put my hand to prospered.

I knew that what I said was true. I just could not remember anything remarkable about the day. Maybe I have stopped looking back. What do you think?

Daddy, am I addicted to the remarkable? Or am I satiated with the sensations of listening for you in the fire and the wind and the storm?

Am I willing to be still and know You are God, without being able to talk about a sensation that validated my belief in you? How un-remarkable can I tolerate? Can I have a day full of your glory without having a glorious experience to write about? Even "plain vanilla" is still a serving of vanilla ice cream, an extraordinary treat that most humans never experience.

What is my testimony? I have heard so many say that they do not have one of those "saved from a life of..." stories. What does it break down to?

I knew I needed God with me, Emmanuel.
I learned that I could.
I did my part.
He did His.
I was with God.

Nope.

I know I need God with me. I know I need me with God.
I learned that I could be with God and God would be with me.
I do my part.
He does His part.
I am with God. I am lost in Him and have no interest in living apart from God.
All of that can be without a sensation to describe, a healing, a miracle.

So the remarkable becomes remarkable because it is extra-ordinary, outside of the ordinary.
So when being in the embrace of the God who loves you without reservation is NOT ORDINARY, it is remarkable. But when the embrace of the MOST HIGH is ORDINARY, it can still be appreciated and acknowledged, without being remarkable. "All" it calls for is a life of thanksgiving.

Thank You, Father, for loving me.

I Love You

That's what He said. I like all the rest of it, but that is the part I have to have. That is the reason that I went looking for Him. I knew there was someone out there who could and would love me.

My wife loved me, but she did not complete me with her love. My sister and brother love me, but they do not fulfill my existence with their love. My son loves me, but as a son loves a father. A sons love is not meant to say "Amen" over my life.

That is Daddy's job. Dancing around me, singing over me, my Father looks at me and agrees completely, saying "Amen."

Father showed me a picture once, and over and over, of a day I needed Fathering. I was a little boy, and I was waiting on the front walk for my Dad to come home from work. I was expecting him to respond perfectly to my need that evening. He failed. Now keep in mind that my Dad was a great Dad. He did his best. But he was just a man, an earth father. That day I needed my Father in Heaven, because I always have and I always will. I am pretty sure it was not the first or last time he failed. It is just moment I realized that he never would meet that need, scratch that itch.

I am so grateful, Heavenly Father, that you knew I would come looking for You. Like the boy named Sue, there were lots of avenues to relief, but there was only one person who could be the door to AAAHHHHHH! My Dad could provide many things, but I needed You to redeem me out of darkness and hold me in Your Light. Thank you for the hunger in us that has only You for the answer.

Grace and More Grace

I did not care who they were. I still did not care who they were when one of them insulted me to try to provoke me, or at least pay him as much attention as he believed he deserved. When I finally looked up and saw who they were, I still only wanted to know how I could serve them. I have gotten in the habit of being alright.

My God said, "Fear Not." By the Grace of God, I am trying to obey that command. And because I am trying, He is making me fearless.

When I can walk fearless, it becomes clear that I don't need to take. That makes my Kingdom citizenship interesting. Thank you, Father, for holding me and telling me over and over that You will never leave nor foresake me.

Time to Write

Time to right. Time to make man righteous. Time to stand him back up, to stand walk live the way man was made to. That was the point of the sacrificial death and supernatural resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth. Father said, "It is time."

So the Messianic prophecies are fulfilled in the life of Jesus. In the process, everything needed to reconcile man and Maker is accomplished. So reconciliation is complete...where there is faith. Father does not make anyone turn up the lane off of the main road and come get a hug. But the lane is there and so is the hug.

Thank you for the Blood, Father.
