Frustration

Frustration just may be part of the landscape.
Nope. Frustration is just a marker that there are expectations that are not founded in the Kingdom. There is a day coming when every circumstance is met with Kingdom Joy. I am just not there yet. There is so much freedom. There is so much to be had in the freedom of Kingdom living. Nothing to do but to walk in it. It is in the book. People of the book and the Spirit can find the door to walking in liberty. Healing is full there. Here. Deliverance is complete. Do you come to the Kingdom for deliverance...or do you get delivered to get to the Kingdom. You have a family right to enter into the most secret place before you are clean. Before you are delivered. You can still have your crippled feet and take your place at the Kings table.
Come on. Take it.

Help me, Father. There is so much to eat and so few at the table.

Thanksgiving

as an alternative to Foreboding.

I am so addicted to controlling the lives of the people around me. Fortunately, today I have seen signs of deliverance. Today I only wanted to change what I could, instead of wanting to and doing it. So I have left myself open to pain. There can be only one explanation. I am okay, and I am going to be okay.

So the only thing to do at this point is to give thanks for the deliverance and healing. And give thinks for bright hope for tomorrow, blessings all mine and ten thousand beside. Great is Thy Faithfulness. Great is Thy Faithfulness. Morning by morning, new Mercies I see. All I have needed Thy Hand hath provided. Great is Thy Faithfulness, Lord, unto me.

Everyone involved is okay. And is going to be okay.

Daddy, why do I crawl off of Your lap? I am so happy that you welcome me back every time.

Faith in Christ

Clinging to nothing else is not enough. That just means adrift.

Clinging, leaning all on Christ is enough and all. The Word, the message of good news is that there is a place to lean, it is a place worthy of your trust, and it is the only place to lean on that matters. So that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

What is the purpose of having eternal life? For the healing of the nations. For the manifestation of the Kingdom of God.

Bring the Kingdom of God into your places, and see life, love, flow into Kingdomless corners and hearts. Having eternal life, bear eternal life into the waste places. Only Kingdom people can bring the Kingdom. Only vessels of perfect love can make it available for the removal of fear.

Plenty of nice religions out there for those who need one. Only one place to trust, rest, heal, hope. And then walk out, carrying water to the thirsty.

Daddy, thank you for Your Word of Truth.

Boy Full of Faith

My boy is uncomfortable in his momentary circumstances. At the same time, he knows he is going to be fine. He is okay. He has and is exercising faith. He will come out well on the other side of it.

Social discomfort is familiar to me. At the same time I realize how very much the Holy Spirit has balmed my wee soul. I know that there is a balm for the heart of the believer, and that there is more there than comfort. The healing is remarkable. Both worth talking about and worth giving thanks for.

There are still situations where I am lacking in grace. But...there is no lack of grace, and I am learning to access it.

How glorious is the mercy of our Father. To ponder my life of acts, and know that He will not turn from me. I look like His Son, sound like Him, smell like Him, when He puts His hands on me and pulls me close. The skin of a sacrifice has been placed on my neck and arms, so I feel like His Son. The clothing of His Son has been placed upon me, so that I smell right, just like the Son of His favor.

Father made it work out this way. He knows my frame, but he is distracted from His wrath by the Holy Perfection of His Son, in Whom He has hidden me.

Thank You, Father, for making a way for us to draw near and receive Your blessing.

Bad Feelings

A life of grace is very good. A life in the Holy Wild is good. It is a life where knowing reigns supreme. Where knowing that everything worth wondering about is settled. So when a question arises, the answer is "Finished." The answer is "Yes and Amen." Then what is left is feelings, too. These feelings in a restored soul are love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, kindness, gentleness, longsuffering (why do I always forget that last one?)

From the vantage point of my Father's lap, it is clear that there is healing available for the soul who pursues it. There is indeed a balm in Gilead. Maybe only after an aching soul gets a chance to see the damage being done by leading others to ache as well, will they seek the balm for someone else, and come in contact with it themselves. One touch of Grace is all it takes.

Father, heat the balm to cause the aroma of "finished" to linger. Contrast it with false satisfaction. Use your church to walk daily in the contrast. I was broken, but now I am whole. I ached, but now I am at rest.
