High Quality, Adequate Quality, Low Quality

No one wants to produce junk with their life.  Sometimes it is just simply that they value the resources that go into the process and do not want to see them wasted.  Some people have quality results as a personal value and so have an internal driver to produce high quality.  Some people value their time, and drive the quality of their results on the desire to only do the work once.  Some people are very concerned about what others think of them, and see poor quality work as a reflection of the kind of person they are.  For some people the quality of results they produce on their job  has to be good enough so that they will get paid, so they can use the money to get the kind of results that really matter to them, something off the job that is the real driver.

The thing that is certain is that high quality results require high quality desire.  It would be great if that is all it took, and if everyone had high quality desire.  There is more to the results, though.  Much more.  To me, the much more is called resources.

Resources are things like time, knowledge, materials, skill, tools, help, plans, references, standards, experience, wisdom, grace, mercy, peace, love, approval, feedback, favor, pull, influence, vision, respect,

So let's assume desire to produce at least adequate quality. Now what happens when there is not adequate:
Time?             Rushing
Knowledge?    Errors
Materials?        Early failure
Skill?               Imprecision
Tools?             Forcing, marring, imprecision

I am guessing that the particular low quality outcome is not nearly as important as the fact that the results will not be good enough.

Where I was going when I started this was that knowledge was the key.  By now I am convinced that knowledge is A key.  But I still want to go on later about high quality knowledge and the need and responsibility to get it and use it.

Father, help me with this.  Grant me what I need to produce high quality results for the benefit of my customers.
