Or do I already know? I told my friend that I know when it is time to know. I will know then what I do not know now.
The one thing for sure is that the decisions of others have shattered what I thought I knew, what I thought was going to happen. I am tempted to grab as much control as I can. And what I am called to is to let go.
As I look back at a conversation from today, the thing I wanted most to see was how at ease and in truth I had been. Outcomes may be important, but the path walked, the steps taken, the choices made in the light of day are what matters. Walking in Christlikeness is important.
I love you, Daddy. I need your help to know how to live. You know my heart. Help me to cling.
